Bushfire Safety Solutions specializes in providing expert and technically qualified bushfire consulting services, including performance based alternate building solutions for development in all classifications of bush fire prone environments.

The principal, Steve Parrott is highly qualified in the field of building surveying, bushfire development and design, bushfire behaviour and analysis and bushfire prevention strategies. Steve is a qualified Building Surveyor having worked in the profession for over 25 years. Steve has an Environmental Science (EH) Degree and has completed post graduate studies in building design in bushfire prone areas at the University of Western Sydney. Steve is currently applying for accreditation with the Fire Protection Association of Australia. FPA accreditation will enable Bushfire Safety Solutions to issue bushfire compliance certificates for complying development once the NSW State Government enacts amendments to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 during the latter half of 2008.
